<109> Balanced by life: So I might not be writing much lately, but that's mostly due to lack of time.  Things are going great in my life right now, which is kind of amazing, but I'm not complaining.  Everything has just continued to balance itself out lately.  Classes are still going okay, though they give us more work then they should I think.  It's good for learning but at the same time when they pile on projects and papers it's hard to do your absolute best on any given one.  Oh well.   My job is still going well too, I'm pretty happy with it though I haven't even been able to get into it full swing yet.  I will soon though.  All I do anymore is work and party with a little sleeping and eating worked in too.  Not a bad existence I suppose.  This weekend (which for me starts on Thursday afternoons) I managed to not work a whole lot and get a lot done all at the same time.  It was quite an amazing feat.  On Friday I went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art with my boyfriend, his sister, and our other friend.  Sad to admit, but it was my first time there even though I've been in the city for over a year.  I had to go for my History of Design class and they wanted to see the Eakins exhibit, so it worked out well.  We walked there and back, which takes about a half hour each way, and we spent a while there, allowing us to spend basically the entire day there.  Then on Saturday I went with a bunch of people to the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology.  I was one of two that went just to go, the rest needed to go for various art history classes they were taking.  I was happy though because we went to see the Egyptian artifacts, which for most of you who don't know, used to be a favorite of mine.  I used to be into all of that Egyptian stuff, though I realized this was the first time I had actually seen anything real from the time.  It was pretty cool.  So I was able to eat up yet another day at a museum.  Considering I rarely go to museums, two in a weekend was pretty impressive.  I figured that was the end of the excitement for the weekend as I settled in to do work for the remainder as I hadn't done any aside from the museum up into that point.  However, that was far from the truth thanks to a call at 11:30pm from a good friend of mine.... moving my bedtime back to 6am.  Oh well, I needed to have fun every single night this weekend (which I did) in order to make up for the lack of it that I most likely will have this coming weekend.  As of now I am planning to go home on Friday and sleep at home for the first time since I moved to Philly at the end of August.  The longest I've been away from home yet too now even though I have made a few short trips home in the day since I've moved here.  So needless to say my Sunday yesterday was spent working and umm... working more.  It wasn't as bad as I had thought though.  I got most everything I needed to done.  I have a few touches to make on my animation project before class today.  My teacher told us last week that if we completed our assignments and turn them in in class then we can leave no matter what time it is, be it half an hour into the class or at the end at 10pm (which I have no intention of being there even remotely close to the normal class end time today).  My plan is to get out of there ASAP and I can use the extra time.  I have a midterm project due for my core class a week from tomorrow and a presentation for my History of Design class due a week from Wednesday, both that I only have concepts of so far, so I still have a pretty full plate of work ahead of me.  And with that, I better go get some work done before my next class rolls around at four.  I can't trust that I will actually get out of this class early, so as usual, I have to make the most of my time.
