<123> In need of inspiration: As usual, I am in one of those moods in which I feel like I want to get a lot done, yet don't seem to be getting anything done. It's quite a predicament really. However, I refuse to start off the new year on a note like this, so I'll start again.

Happy New Year! I suppose 2002 promises to be an interesting year for me to say the least. I have a lot of plans and a lot of hopes... we'll just have to wait and see together if any of them actually work out / come true. I am happy to announce that my new year started off very nicely though. I finally did something more entertaining then sit at home; after 19 years of doing that, I'd had my fill. This year we had a big party at my place in Philly. I think we had about 40 people come overall, which even though our place is fairly big, that still makes it pretty packed! It was a lot of fun though, with the usual dramas and things going on too of course, as our parties always seem to feature some kind of minor dramas... that's okay though, it's all good. We had people drive many hours to get there and we had most of these people spend the night too, meaning the floors of every room were full of sleeping people in the morning. Yes, quite a fun time. I foresee this being a new trend in new year celebrations for me, oh doesn't the future look bright? And returning to my Philly life was nice too. So much so that I'm going back in again tomorrow. Well, actually this trip in was planned long ago too. I'm going to see Bill Cosby. We bought my roommate Chris tickets for his birthday and it's at the performance hall they just finished building right next to my school called the Kimmel Center. I've been in there once for its opening, but this will be my first time going to see an actual performance. Plus, it's Bill Cosby, so c'mon, you know it's got to be good! So I'm looking forward to that and to celebrating my roommates 21st birthday too! I'm staying in the city until Saturday sometime at least and I plan on going back a lot in these next two weeks before I move back for good on the 16th if not sooner. A few of my friends are back in there already, so that makes me want to be in there even more. So I suppose winter break is passing along somewhat quickly, but now that the holidays and celebrations are over, I'm not so sure it will continue this way. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no hurry to get back to classes and work really, but I guess I just want the other life I had just gotten used to back sooner then later. Home is alright, I had fun yesterday with my best friend. We resumed doing random things that we've done many times before which should seemingly be boring, but somehow they are the best times around here. It was nice, but it's so rare that it still doesn't keep me from being ready to return to my city life.

In the meantime, I want to get some work done on my website, but this just hasn't happened too much yet. My Meg's Place site needs more work then this one does really, but I feel Digital Reflex deserves an upgrade as well since it's one year online anniversary is happening on wow, I just realized, the 16th - the day I return to Philadelphia for good. Nice irony there and I didn't even plan it that way. Well, I'll try to get something fun planned in time for that, but we'll just have to see how things go. I'm supposed to go skiing for my first time ever on Monday, but now we're supposed to have our first snow storm and if that takes place we will probably not end up going. Just gotta see what happens I suppose, just like everything else...
