<144> Thunder and rain: It just began raining and has stopped already by the time I start writing this post. I hear the thunder in the distance though, so I won't be surprised when it starts up again. I like the rain actually, unless it accompanies power outages or something of course. Rain in summer, when it's warm and you can go outside rocks too. That's something you can never get the full effect of in the city for sure. Speaking of the city, I "visited" today, picked up some things, saw some of my friends there again finally. I promised to return on Tuesday. My roommate is stopping back for a couple days in between her road trip which she is just finishing up with her sister and her return home before going off on another crazy summer adventure. It was good to be back, but again it's weird because when I'm home for one things seem like they should stop there in the city with my absence, though my friends tell me it is definitely not the same without me and want me back. It is definitely easier at home, having my parents help me out since I'm still not supposed to be doing much for myself anyway and all. I know I still need recovery time, but I want to be back at my own place at the same time. I think it's not just that, I want to be back to my place the way things were a month ago before all this craziness happened and then summer hit, but I know there isn't much I can do about this now.

More thunder, here comes that storm, it's getting louder. I'm pretty tired. This is the first day I haven't taken any form of a nap after dialysis I think. That's because I was too busy to. I didn't get home until after 8pm. After dialysis they had me do an xray because they were having a problem with the line, then they made me wait after that to talk to my doctor, who said there is too much fluid in my lungs (inside and out) so I have to come back in tomorrow for more hours of something like dialysis, but it's just for fluid removal. Not totally sure how this works, but I'll assume it's not so rare and that they know what they're doing. Hmm... it's pouring now, fun... Anyway, so after this we finally left the hospital, but then I stopped in Philly for awhile and then my mom had to stop by to do a few errands that were on the way home. So all and all, this equaled me getting home about 8:30pm, tired and hungry (though I had a little bit to eat, not much) at which point in time I watched about 20 minutes worth of baseball with my dad before retreating upstairs here to go online. It's really raining and thundering hard here now. See, I knew the storm was coming.

Quite a bit of lightening out there now too. Hmm, at least I'll have a couple hours worth of power on my laptop if any evil power outages occur. Actually, I take that back, the cable modem wouldn't be working then and I probably wouldn't be entertained enough to stick around tonight given my tiredness and the fact that I spent plenty of offline computer hours today editing articles and such for work during dialysis. The rain stopped again, geez this is a crazy storm. It'll probably be back around again. I really should get something to eat and then get to bed at some "decent" hour since I gotta get up early again and such. I brought home most of my needed files off my desktop today too, as well as my digital camera (but have no way to put the images I take now on this computer yet), so maybe I'll get a chance to do some updating to the rest of this site soon.
