<243> Make A Move: A new year brings a new drive to get things moving once again... and believe it or not I'm actually already making progress! I'm knocking things off the to-do list and considering decisions that I may or may not want to put off. I already started kicking Sticky Art back into motion this year. I've begun working on the wedding plans again since, well, you know, it's less than 6 months away and there is still plenty to do. I distract myself with little bouts of focus on Metatative too... I'm hoping to at least get the site up soon and get my business cards ordered... that'll help get all that put into motion, but I'm stuck on exactly how I want to present it. I actually have had the business card designed for months now - but I'm rethinking how to promote the fact that I hope to focus on marketing artists. So I still need to play around with that, because I don't want it to sound like that's all Metatative does... hmm.

We had a party for New Year's Eve which was just a gathering of our close friends. It was too bad that a couple key people couldn't make it, but the majority of important people to us were there and that really made it great. Concetta was even back for the holidays - I'm glad she decided to stay in the US until yesterday... It was like she had never left and it's weird these parallel worlds some of us are in. It must be like the way I felt when I was away in Austria though in a smaller increment. You meet a whole different set of people, see things no one else you are normally with has seen, and then you come back to your main world with this new experience under your belt but after a few days of transition it's as if you never left. It's weird. I'm going to be spending a few days in Scotland to visit Concetta for her birthday at the end of March. I'm becoming a regular world traveler, huh? I'm going to pack so that I don't need to check any luggage too... my first plane trip skipping that annoying little step - I'm excited! I really don't need too much to go see her for less than a week - I can live out of a bag or two for that long and it's not like I'll be needing to bring back a bunch of things since I've already been there. That'll be a nice trip though it'll be a little hard missing work it should only be a couple days off. Then my next trip will be Austria again this summer. Dan is coming with me this time and we are thinking about flying into Berlin first. We have a friend who moved there and Concetta might meet up with us if we go too. That'll be just a few weeks after the wedding. I can't even imagine how quickly the summer is going to fly by between the wedding and school! June, July, and August are pretty much already booked and the year has barely begun!

It really feels like this is going to be a good year though. Things are going good so far 4 days in, so let's hope it keeps up for the other 361!! ;)
